AN ICE CREAM LOVER’S DREAMLAND
With 50–75 flavors, live bands, DJs, a Milkshake Throwdown, and interactive zones, the event is designed to be family-friendly, highly photogenic, and irresistibly shareable. Originally launched at Seattle Center, Scooped has since expanded to Esther Short Park in Vancouver, WA, with plans for continued regional growth.
As a first-year festival, Scooped had to stand out in a crowded summer calendar, draw 4,000+ guests per day, and deliver a seamless tasting experience—while managing vendor logistics, timed ticketing, and the operational demands of serving tens of thousands of scoops in summer heat.
Success hinged on two things: smooth scoop station operations and vibrant, immersive energy. Guests needed to enjoy as many flavors as possible with minimal wait time, while vendors required backstock support and clear flow. A strong entertainment component would anchor the day and keep families engaged beyond the tasting experience.
Treadway designed a strategic footprint that optimized guest flow, implemented timed ticket entry to control crowd surges, and engineered scoop station logistics to prevent backups or supply issues. We delivered full creative and operational control, including branding, marketing, rentals, ticketing, vendor management, POS systems, talent booking, and onsite execution. A main stage with live bands and DJs, a custom milkshake bar, and interactive sponsor activations added depth to the experience.
Scooped debuted with 8,000+ attendees over its opening weekend and sold out vendor inventory daily. Social buzz exceeded 1M+ organic impressions, with strong influencer engagement and regional media coverage. The event is an annual Treadway Events-owned signature experience, with scalable growth plans and a proven format adaptable to markets across the West Coast.
